Andres is a specialized lawyer in environmental law, energy, water, and natural resources. His practice also includes the areas of health and sanitary law, infrastructure, and administrative law.

He started his career in the Fiscalia of Empresa Nacional de Electricidad S.A. (ENDESA), Santiago (1992-1995); where he begins his specialization in the environmental practice area. Later, he worked in Cariola Diez Pérez-Cotapos & Cia., Santiago (1995-1997 & 1999-2002), and in Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, New York, USA (1998).

Andres has been a columnist on Environmental Law in the Business Newspaper “Estrategia”, and author of various articles about energy and environment. He has been an exhibitor in several seminars in Chile and other countries. He was recognized as a lawyer specialized in environmental law in Chile by the international guide IFLR 1000 (Legal Media Group, Euromoney, year 2002).

Andres is collegiate in the Colegio de Abogados A.G. and is member of the Regulatory Comitee of the Sociedad Nacional de Energía.

 

He speaks and writes fluent English.
